This week is National Inclusion Week, which aims to highlight the value of inclusion in the workplace. This year’s theme is ‘Everyday Inclusion’.
Throughout the week, we will be sharing blogs from members of our networks who will update you on the projects which are contributing to making NHSBT a more inclusive organisation.
Diversity and Inclusion Manager, Jazz Sehmi said:
“National Inclusion week is a great way for us to share our commitment towards greater inclusion at NHSBT. Inclusion doesn’t happen by just having policies in place, it’s about ensuring that no one feels left out because of who they are, how they choose to live their life or where they come from.”
We have been asking colleagues what makes NHSBT a great place to work. Their responses have formed a collection of posters in the slideshow below which you will also see in and around your centres.
Sally Johnson, Interim Chief Executive, also wrote about National Inclusion Week and diversity in her recent blog.
Get involved this week any tell us why NHSBT is a great place to work by posting on Yammer using the hashtag #EverydayInclusion.
You can email your team photos and quotes to Internal Comms.
