Have your say in the LGBT+ Network’s Work Equality Index (WEI) survey as part of our membership of Stonewall’s Diversity Champions programme.
The LGBT+ Network have been working closely with Stonewall, the UK’s leading LGBT charity, to establish NHSBT’s membership to the Diversity Champions programme. It is the leading employers’ programme for ensuring all LGBT+ colleagues are accepted without exception in the workplace.
As part of the Diversity Champions programme, the LGBT+ Network will be conducting the Workplace Equality Index (WEI); a benchmarking tool which will enable Stonewall to measure NHSBT’s progress on LGBT+ inclusion and equality in the workplace. Taking part in the Index is a positive step towards action planning for a more inclusive workplace culture and clearly demonstrates a commitment to our LGBT+ employees.
Alongside the WEI, there is survey which provides supplementary evidence provided in the WEI. The survey asks a series of short questions covering key indicators of workplace culture.
To ensure we get the most out of this work, we would value your support by completing the survey here. Please use our unique code: 2099 at the beginning of the survey when prompted.
- The survey is open to all colleagues
- It is anonymous
- You do not have to identify as LGBT+ to complete the survey
- It takes no longer than 5 minutes to complete
- The survey is open until 2 November
After the closing date, Stonewall will review the survey and the WEI findings and give NHSBT a score, enabling us to understand what’s going well and where we need to focus our efforts to make our organisation more inclusive and equal. Once all submissions to the Index have been received they are marked, ranked and the list of Stonewall’s Top 100 employers is released.
