National Inclusion Week took place 25 September – 1 October. The week helped to highlight the importance of working more inclusively across the organisation and the benefits of having a diverse and included workforce. A series of lunch and learn sessions were held across many of the centres, helping to share on different ways to promote inclusion.
During the week blogs and news items with links to some thought provoking film clips also helped to promote understanding of how we can all be more inclusive. The Connect 4 game was provided in centres to bring the ‘Connect for Inclusion’ theme to life. It was played across many centres, encouraging people to connect over lunch and break times. The game will remain in centres in communal areas to encourage more connections to be made. An inclusion quiz was also sent to all teams and was held during lunch times.
